It has been operational since Tuesday 20.10.20 the Lazio km 0 Bonus Call. The initiative is organized by the Lazio Region, which has allocated 10 million euros to promote the consumption of local foods with protected designation (DOP and IGP) and Traditional Agri-food Products (PAT). Restaurateurs are encouraged to purchase with direct economic measures.
Lazio km 0 Bonus Call, the boost to local agri-food
The incentive to local agri-food products consists of a non-repayable grant. Direct beneficiaries are catering operators active in Lazio registered under 4 ATECO codes:
– catering with administration (code 56.10.11),
– catering activities connected to farms (code 56.10.12),
– catering on trains and ships (code 56.10.50),
– catering for events, banqueting (code 56.21.00).
30% spending bonus (already paid)
The contribution is non-repayable. It amounts to 30% of the incurred expenditure, provided it has already been ‘receipted’, that is, paid to agri-food product suppliers.
The amount of the contribution varies from a minimum of 500 euros, for an expense of 1,667 euros, up to a maximum of 5,000 euros (for a minimum expense of 16,667 euros).
Incentivized products
The products agri-food supported by Lazio km 0 Bonus Call are all the DOP, IGP and PAT produced in the regional territory, as well as listed in the call, as well as on the website of the regional agency ARSIAL and that of the Ministry of Agricultural Policies (see thelist updated as of 5.10.20).
Those benefiting from the initiative, in addition to producers and restaurateurs, there are consumers.
