GIFT – Great Italian Food Trade it is the information heart of a larger and more integrated network: the benefit corporation WIISE Srl. Our ecosystem operates through a synergy of skills ranging from research and development to legal and strategic consultancy, up to social commitment, to support the sustainable growth of operators in the agrifood sector.
The WIISE ecosystem is divided into the following units and related activities:
GIFT (Great Italian Food Trade)
GIFT is our privileged observatory on Italian and international agri-food excellence. Through GIFT, we analyze supply chains, products and markets to foster connections and synergies between the most virtuous operators, buyers and communities. Our goal is to enhance the quality of authentic Made in Italy through transparency and technical information.
DO (Food and Agriculture Requirements)
DOING is the operational unit of the WIISE company dedicated to strategic, legal, technical, management and commercial consultancy for the agri-food sector. While GIFT analyzes supply chain scenarios, FARE provides companies with operational solutions to face these challenges with competence and safety. The division manages food law, labelling, regulatory compliance and export support services. It represents the technical partner for companies that choose to consolidate their quality and sustainability standards to compete successfully on international markets.
WIISE R&D
WIISE is the research and development core of our ecosystem. WIISE actively participates in European and international research projects (such as Wasteless, EcoeFISHent, ProFuture, Camel Milk), acting as a bridge between the academic world and the production chains for technological innovation and development best practices oriented towards sustainability and the circular economy.
FOOD TIMES
Our ideas laboratory completes the GIFT information framework. If GIFT is the focus on excellence and the market, Food Times represents the window on emerging scenarios, radical innovation and sector analyzes at a global level, with a careful eye on nutritional and technological trends.
ÉGALITÉ
Non-profit association that expresses the ethical commitment of our ecosystem. Égalité works for the protection of fundamental rights - food, health and social inclusion - with particular attention to people with disabilities. It is the beating heart of our values of social responsibility and sustainability which extend beyond the agri-food sector.
