Limoncello di Capri, a leading liquor in the Horeca channel, has been acquired by Molinari. The company was founded in Civitavecchia in 1945 by Angelo Molinari, and is famous for the authentic Sambuca made in Italy, as well as for Molinari Caffè – a liqueur that evokes the Italian tradition of caffè corretto – and Vov, the king of egg liqueurs, with a history dating back to 1845.
Limoncello di Capri has been in the Molinari portfolio since 1999. 100% natural, without coloring or preservatives, it is obtained exclusively by infusion in alcohol of the peels of the Sorrento Oval Lemon IGP.
The Limoncello di Capri experience can be lived firsthand with a visit to the Transparent Factory in Meta di Sorrento (Na), open to the public, where you can witness the entire production cycle. From the cultivation of Sorrento lemons to the maturation of their peels, up to the bottling of the liqueur.
