Growing-up milk for children

Growing-up milk, indicated for feeding children aged between 1 and 3 years, is a product designed to meet the particular nutritional needs in this delicate stage of childhood.

After breastfeeding – which the WHO recommends to continue for at least 24 months – children begin discovering new flavors and textures. A small revolution often accompanied by the refusal of unknown foods, which in some cases can cause imbalances in the proper intake of nutrients. To prevent this potential deficiency, the infant food industry offers growing-up milk.

The formulation is designed to meet the nutritional needs of the child. Cow's milk, whose protein and saturated fat content could be excessive if consumed as is, is diluted in growing-up milk. Other ingredients also include Omega-3 essential fatty acids, vitamins and minerals, such as iron, iodine and zinc, which are important for growth, and in some cases present in insufficient quantities in the diet.
