Completely biodegradable and 100% plant-based. It is the Bio Bottle of Sant’Anna, the first water bottle made from a natural material, thus intended to be disposed of with separately collected organic waste.
Exclusive worldwide in the 1.5-liter format and unique in Italy, the Bio Bottle is biodegradable in 80 days, as demonstrated by the disintegration test of the Italian Composting Consortium (CIC). The bottle is made from a plant-based biopolymer (Ingeo), derived from the fermentation of plant sugars instead of petroleum and compliant with the EN13432 standard, which certifies its compostability.
For its innovative profile, reports DM, Sant’Anna Bio Bottle was selected among the 150 most innovative made in Italy objects by ADI, Association for Industrial Design, and is therefore included in the ADI Design Index 2013.
