Nutritional properties, varieties, what’s in season, recipes, quality and safety regulations for fruit and vegetables, this is the information Fruitylife, a campaign aimed at Italian, French and German consumers, offers on European produce. The initiative is co-financed by the European Union, Italy’s Ministry of Agriculture and Alimos, a cooperative that has been committed to food safety and environmental protection for 40 years through the coordination of projects its members, including Italian producers Alegra, Apofruit Italy, Conor, Naturitalia and Orogel Fresco, participate in. In 2012 Fruitylife’s promotional activities in points of sale across Europe reached 3 million consumers. Its informative website, fruitylife.eu, publishes every kind of useful information on regulatory and qualitative guarantees in conventional and organic European fruit and vegetable production.
