Beijing wine expo 2014, the single most important trade show in China for the sector, will include the participation of GIFT – Great Italian Food Trade. Beijing expo will be held in Yanqing, near the Chinese capital, from the 29th to 31st of July. The 8 language portal will travel to China to promote products marked by sustainability and quality, above all wine, but also other foods and beverages from the country’s tradition.
GIFT’s partners (in addition to those whose requests are received by 15/7/14 at the address web@greatitalianfoodtrade.com) will benefit from direct representation at the trade show in China, meaning unprecedented access to buyers from all over the world. Beijing wine expo 2014 will occupy an exhibition area of 25,000 square meters, with an estimated 20,000 visitors, including the PRC’s top 50 importers, as well as representatives from neighboring countries and the 5 continents.
For the first time, the event takes place as part of the Selection and Genetic Improvement of Vines Conference, traditionally for meeting point for experts, producers and import specialists. It is sponsored by the International Horticultural Science Society as well as China’s Ministry of Agriculture, Academy of Sciences and the Local Autonomous Government of Beijing.
