Il Fatto Alimentare is an independent online publication focused on everything that involves the food and beverage industry: safety, labels, consumer information, laws that govern the sector, nutrition, innovation, research, the environment and sustainable development. Founded by Roberrto La Pira and Dario Dongo in June 2010, thanks to the quality and precision of the information offered, it has reached 500,000 unique visitors each month. With space dedicated to the challenges of the new millennium, for example land-grabbing, and with particular attention to reporting dishonest behaviour such as deceiving advertisements. The site also hosts contributions from sector experts, and systematically follows the activities of the European agencies charged with scientific evaluation and risk management such as Efsa (EU), Anses (France), Fsa (UK), and Iss (Italy). Today, Il Fatto Alimentare is considered a point of reference for all those operating in the sector, as well as for consumers who are careful about what they eat, and aware of their rights.
