In line with market data from the organic food sector, which has grown in Italy across the board, Italian brands are experiencing very flattering results. Such is the case of Almaverde Bio, a domestic leader in organic foods, which during the first six months of 2013 showed an increase in business volume for its products of 10% compared to the same period of 2012.
The group brings together eleven partners that are specialised in various organic products, or bio in Italian, and has achieved the same level of success in each category. Recently, Almaverde Bio has launched a series of innovative organic food products, including frozen fish, a line of special flours, as well as one dedicated to vegetable gastronomy. This is another reason why the first half of the year has seen such strong increases in sales, with the number of producers and production areas devoted to organic farming increasing, too.
