Valpolicella wine, truly italian
Valpolicella wine originates in the region of Veneto’s most important Italian red wine production area, the Valpolicella. It is ruby-red, has a full aroma of cherries and roses with a tart and vivacious finish, complemented by an excellent quality/price ratio. It is exclusively produced with native autoctone grape varietals.
Among the fruit used in Valpolicella wine, the Corvina varietal stands out offering structure and body. It is essential to the winemaking process, together with the Corvinone, also rich in polyphenols and tannins. The list ends with the Rondinella, delegated the task of achieving the right color.
The Classico attribute that accompanies Valpolicella wine is applied if it is created in the oldest part of the territory corresponding to the 5 towns of Sant’Ambrogio di Valpolicella, Fumane, San Pietro in Cariano, Mariano and Negrar. Superiore, on the other hand, is attributed after 12 months of aging, with higher alcohol content, reduced acidity and significantly rounder palate. Whichever you choose, an authentic drinking experience is guaranteed.
