Vinitaly International, the operative branch of Vinitaly abroad, continues to organize missions throughout the world to favor contact with foreign buyers. After New York, the 2014 agenda will see the event at the International Wine & Spirits Show in Chengdu, an appendage of the China Food and Drinks Fair, which hosts some 8,000 professionals each day. This 30 year old B2B showcase of China’s wine sector boasts the participation of some 700 Italian exporters.
Two events are also in the works for November. The first to be defined in Moscow for Vinitaly Russia, the second is Vinitaly Hong Kong from the 6th to the 8th. Not to miss is the home exhibition of Vinitaly 2014 scheduled in Verona for April 6-9.
In the lead up to its inauguration, the grand tasting known as Opera Wine is set to take place hosting the Finest Italian Wines and 100 Great Producers series at Palazzo della Gran Guardia in collaboration with Wine Spectator.
