GIFT at Vinitaly, New Strategies

GIFT, the global online Italian food showcase, has invited Italian wine producers interested in foreign markets to a special symposium on the topic on Tuesday April 8, 2014 at Vinitaly. The appointment is at the Pala Expo, Sala Mozart from 14.30 to 17.30.

After an overview of the wine market in China, thanks to the participation and data of the Italo-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, experts from GIFT and Shop 33will illustrate a strategic approach that integrates traditional channels with those offered by new geolocalized marketing tools, including the web, videos and apps.

The organization of the event also includes the contribution of Azienda Agricola Brigaldara, which recently won three glasses from Gambero Rosso for its Amarone Riserva 2007.

“The quality and variety of Italian wine, with its history and roots in the territory, and the extraordinary and growing success of Vinitaly, deserves to be known in every corner of the globe, especially where large numbers of consumers have next to no information” stated GIFT founder Dario Dongo. “For this reason there needs to be continuous communication, in native languages, that is able to reach the tablets and smartphones of a global audience.
