The Agrumi-Gel facility extends over an area of 60,000 square metres, 10,000 of which is covered. 60,000,000 kilos of fruit are processed here every year, the best of Sicilian lemons, blond and blood oranges, tangerines and grapefruit, with a production capacity of 50 T/H. The following is a list of the quantity of each product that can be produces each day expressed in tons:

– 480 of juice not from concentrate (NFC), only through use of high quality fruit
– 4 of essential oils
– 120 of other citrus extracts
– 60 of dry byproducts
– 5 of bio-ethanol, and 500 cubic metres of bio-gas

Agrumi-Gel employs 40 permanent workers between its office administration and production units. In addition, 10-20 seasonal workers are employed during production peaks as the case requires.

Company turnover rests at around 20 million euros per year.
