“EU Funding 2014-2020 – Programmes for Growth and Counting in Europe” is the title of the event organised by EurActiv for October 4, 2013 in Rome. The day will be divided into two phases to address the same number of issues, with stakeholders and national and European Community policy experts standing vis-à-vis. The event will kick off at 9 with “The Definition of Operative Programmes for the Effective Use of EU Funding”, a theme that will see a debate between former head of the Ministry for Territorial Cohesion, Fabrizio Barca, and three members of the European Parliament, Roberto Gualtieri, Giovanni La Via and Niccolò Rinaldi.
At 11 the second session will commence on “Systemic Actions for Counting in Europe and Guaranteeing More Funding to Business and Institutions”. The meeting will include the participation of Gianni Pittella and Antonio Tajani, respectively the vice-presidents of the EP and the EC. The Minister of European Affairs, Enzo Moavero Milanesi, is also expected. Director of EurActiv, Giampiero Gramaglia, will moderate the discussion.
