Mortadella nutritional values
Mortadella, balanced nutritional values
Mortadella nutritional values are surprising. Once considered almost as an indulgence, to be eaten in moderation to limit fat intake, today the authentic Emilian sausage actually offers a well-balanced nutritional profile. Against this backdrop, the global leader of the sector, Bologna company Felsineo, puts its name to an exceptional mortadella, a delicious source of protein.
The pork meat used in the production gives this mortadella nutritional values that are little-known. Containing iron, vitamins B1 (thiamine), B2 (riboflavin), B3 (niacine), B6, B12, it is rich in selenium too. It is also distinguished by the good balance in the composition of the fatty part, made up of three equal parts of saturated, unsaturated and polyunsaturated fats.
With over 50 years of experience and research, Felsineo has created a new generation of mortadella, of great nutrition benefit. 100g of the renowned "1963 Mortadella Artigianale", for example, supplies 21g of protein (42% of the Guideline daily amount, GDA), and only 19g of fat (27.1% of the GDA), of which well above half are unsaturates. Similarly, the "Sciccosa"contains more than 33.5% protein.
