The production of Asdomar tuna is ZERO WASTE. Scrap processing, normally thrown into landfills, is fully recovered in the production of feed.

Asdomar 360 ° certifications

Asdomar, with 6 certifications issued by international organizations and independent bodies, recognized globally, concretely applies the principles that qualify the company policy, focused on the inseparable combination Quality and Respect. These certifications pertain to all its activities.

Asdomar products are sustainable certified 'Friend of the Sea', the seal given by the Earth Island Institute, an international NGO with twenty years experience in the certification of sustainability of fish products on the basis of the guidelines of FAO.

Asdomar, among other certifications, has achieved the BRC Food and IFS Food, certifying conformity to certain sanitary standards of the supply chain and of the production of food suppliers of retail; and SA 8000, which refers to ethics that characterizes the supply chain and the production cycle.

The laboratory made available by Asdomar is credited Accredia and can operate as a third party. Asdomar is also qualified  '100% Green Energy', for the certification of use in production processes of only renewable sources.
