Children are the consumers of the future, and apple producer Mela Val Venosta is ready to meet them at KIDS 2013 Generation 0-10, one of the most important events dedicated to childhood in Italy. The event is set to take place at the Palazzo delle Stelline in Milan on May tenth and eleventh. The initiative includes entertainment for small children, with games and laboratories, but also meetings aimed at keeping families informed. Mela Val Venosta places great emphasis on environmental sustainability in apple growing, through the use of drip-irrigation systems and solar panels on the buildings of the cooperatives that supply their apples. The group also boasts international certifications in various phases of production to guarantee origin and traceability. 10% of the organic apples distributed throughout Europe come from Val Venosta.
