Italian mineral water, a river of health

The precious Italian mineral water it is an unrivaled heritage. Along the peninsula there are 700 springs, 350 of which are active and connected to the extraction and bottling plants. With 12 billion liters per year, of which 10% exported all over the world, Italy is a leader in the production of natural mineral water and owner of an unrivaled variety.

Widely appreciated by Italians, major consumers in Europe, the waters of the Belpaese are among the most sought-after Made in Italy products abroad. The first trade dates back to 1890. Until the mid-60s, the market was essentially local, by nature medical-therapeutic, according to the intuition consecrated by the Romans in a sort of architectural divination, through still visible aqueducts and baths. Around 1970, the nationwide diffusion of a commodity of great value and no longer reserved for the wealthiest classes began.

The purity of the liquid that flows from the source is the same as that in the bottle. The legislation prohibits any purification, disinfection or filtration intervention. It is therefore thanks to the care given to each spring area if the Italian quality of the generous natural water can remain natural, pure and flawless.
