Natural mineral water, drink it

The production of water mineral natural, still or sparkling, in Italy it is particularly varied and valuable. With a long tradition, with an offer of hundreds of different labels, the Peninsula leads the world ranking of per capita consumption. According to Italian law, its particular characteristics must include the "properties favorable to health".

It is called mineral water because it comes from a deep, protected and uncontaminated reservoir. It is bacteriologically pure, does not undergo disinfection and is bottled at the origin, with indications of the composition on the label. The 'fixed residue', i.e. the dry matter content of water evaporated at 180 degrees, determines its classification into three large families: minimally mineralized, low in mineral content and rich in mineral salts.

Human beings are 'made' of water. In adults it represents about 60% of body weight, while in children the percentage rises to almost 80%. For this reason it is essential not only to take a quantity that corresponds to our needs every day, at least 1,5 liters, but also that it is of excellent quality.
