The GS1 Lab is open to everyone. This important structure, built in 2007 and now a reference center for research on the supply chain, has become accessible to anyone, even if only virtually.
Thanks to the use of Google Places, an interactive tour allows you to move around the Lab, with a 360-degree visibility of the environments in which every day we work to optimize the logistics-distribution activity.
It is thus possible to visit the approximately 800 square meters in which the distribution chain is reproduced in its parts. Packaging line, goods receipt, storage, sorting and delivery to the point of sale. All managed according to Rfld technology in EPC standard, tested by GS1 Italy in collaboration with the School of Management of the Politecnico di Milano.
