600 Million for Businesses

Easier credit to support international growth for small and medium-sized businesses through the efficient system of state guarantees, and wider attention to the unique details of economic systems at the territorial level. These are the highlights of the agreement finalised for business growth signed by the Minister of Economic Development, Corrado Passera, and the chairmen of Italy’s Chambers of Commerce, which is set to launch the first special sections of the Central Guarantee Fund in 19 provinces (Bari, Bergamo, Brescia, Como, Cremona, Firenze, Genova, Lecco, Mantova, Milano, Modena, Monza-Brianza, Napoli, Palermo, Pavia, Salerno, Trieste, Udine and Varese), a number which could increase.

This endowment, due to the multiplying effect generated by the participation of state-held funds, permits the allocation of some 600 million euros is credit for small and medium-sized businesses in these territories to boost their competitiveness at the global level and see gowth.
