欧盟委员Dacian Ciolos在农业与农村发展上撤销关于要求餐厅使用橄榄油预防填充瓶的决定。在一次由德国英国媒体进行的激烈对抗措施的新闻活动后，出现了戏剧性的转机。撤消餐厅反欺诈的规定，仍有待观察将会怎样制定包含在同一条例中的标签字符可见性的规定。文本必须进行编辑，继而重新投票。但首先Ciolos希望与餐厅和消费者代表进行协商。总之，时间上还没有确定。委员会逆转的齐声批评由意大利与其它生产大国与橄榄汁的最强消费者国家使其恢复原状。
