Set to Enter Baked Goods Market

The new line of bakery products that De Cecco is set to offer consumers starting from the end of May will be called I Grani. The group based in Fara San Martino in the province of Chieti, Abruzzo, specialised in pasta since 1886 will make its foray into the bakery products market with a soft bread, different types of breadsticks, crackers and dried taralli (a combination between pretzels and bagels). The new product line will use the finest raw ingredients, and extra-virgin olive oil exclusively. In this way De Cecco intends to continue to integrate its newer items, like oils and tomato products which have already reached a 4% market share and 40 million euros in turnover each, into its traditional range.
