Prize worthy sustainability report

The sustainability report of Asdomar reflects the strong commitment to produce in respect of mankind and the environment. The Report relates to the full range Asdomar. It reflects the care in applying sustainability to the production of tuna and mackerel, giving centrality to the management of workers, safety at work, efficiency in the adoption and use of renewable energy and water, and reducing waste.

Sustainability is one of the pillars of ethics, strategic element of the company policy. Something testified by the choice of using the numerous certifications obtained as a starting point and not a goal. For example, concerning the sustainability of fisheries, in addition to the requirements of the scheme Friend of the Sea, Asdomar established voluntarily limits dictated by their own choices - often carried out with great foresight and ahead of its time - first of all, the selection of only adult tuna to safeguard the reproduction of the species.

In 2014, the Sustainability Report 2012 was honored by Arete as the best sustainability report.
